Vanessa L. Kanaga is a seasoned attorney with nearly two decades of experience specializing in estate planning. She earned her J.D. from Cornell Law School and holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Wichita State University, as well as an Advanced Professional Certificate from New York University School of Law.
Salim A. Shleef joined the firm in 2024 as Of Counsel, bringing with him a practice devoted to helping people navigate some of life’s most difficult crossroads. His work centers on trust and estate litigation and administration, vulnerable adult abuse and financial exploitation matters, and guardianship and conservatorship proceedings.
Alec joined Becker & House in 2023 and serves as the Legal Assistant to attorneys Andrea Burnett O’Neill and Salim Shleef. In this role, he supports case management, client communication, and day-to-day operations with efficiency and attention to detail.
